They conduct sport and task-specific testing sessions, design and implement safe and effective strength training and conditioning programs and provide guidance regarding nutrition and injury prevention.
Exercise-based rehabilitation is used to return tissues to their pre-injury state, reduce the likelihood of future injury, and address faulty movement patterns.
Programs are specifically tailored to each patient and may include strengthening, endurance exercises, mobility training, movement re-education, balance/proprioceptive training, and sport-specific exercises.
